Watercolours for Beginners

About this offering
If you’re just starting out with watercolours—maybe you’ve painted a bit at home or followed a tutorial or two, but still feel a little lost—I think you’re going to like this! First, we’ll practice wet-on-wet, layering washes, colour mixing, transparency and more. After this first part of the class, once you’ve discovered a few watercolour effects, you’ll have time to practise them by applying them to simple shapes (animals, plants, etc.) that I’ll provide. With the help of examples—and my guidance, of course—you’ll practise alongside other watercolour enthusiasts, supporting and learning from one another. No previous experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
